"I created Advance Home Education Projects to make home learning simple, structured, and inspiring. As a former Head Teacher in Alternative Education, I've spent years helping children who thrive best outside of mainstream settings. I believe every child deserves a learning journey that fits them — one that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and confidence."
"Our 6-week projects are designed with that in mind: practical, flexible learning that parents can enjoy delivering and children can enjoy doing."

Plans designed around your child and your routine. Every 6-week plan maps to the UK curriculum, wider learning and British Values.
Select from a wide range of themed projects across subjects like Science, Geography, History and Creative Arts — each adapted for your child's age group.
Each week introduces a new focus topic with five daily lessons, combining videos, hands-on activities and creative challenges.
Every activity links to national curriculum areas and wider learning outcomes such as wellbeing, career awareness and life skills.
Parents can mark lessons complete and record outcomes, building clear evidence of learning as they go.
Each project ends with a Final Project Outcome — a creative piece of work or presentation to showcase what's been learned.
We recommend trusted, age-appropriate websites that build on each day's learning — helping children explore topics further and strengthen key skills.

Understanding your legal duties and rights as a home educating parent
Parents must ensure a suitable, full-time education for a child of compulsory school age—at school or otherwise (home education).
You don't have to follow the National Curriculum; many families use it as a guide.
Local authorities may make enquiries to satisfy themselves education is suitable—keeping your plan, samples and reflection notes helps.
If your child is currently on a school roll, you can deregister by writing to the head teacher (different process for special schools).
Exams: home-educated students sit GCSEs as private candidates via approved centres.

Legal framework for parental duty to ensure education

Find approved centres for GCSE and A-level examinations
Our structured projects make it easy to provide suitable education while keeping clear records for local authority enquiries.

"The weekly projects make home education so much easier. Everything is already planned out, so we can just get started each morning. My son especially loved the Becoming a Vet project — it kept him engaged all week!"
Mum of two (KS1 & KS2)
"I used to worry about covering everything at the right level, but these projects take the guesswork out of planning. Each one links to real learning goals, and my daughter's confidence has grown so much."
Mum of a Year 5 learner
"The projects are fun! I liked the activities where we built things and learned new facts about animals. It didn't even feel like school."
Age 8
"I love how each project covers different subjects without feeling forced. One activity might include reading, art, and science all in one go — it's learning that actually makes sense."
Mum of KS3 learner
"My favourite part was the final project! I got to make a poster about my dream job and show it to my family. I felt really proud of what I'd done."
Age 10
"Advance Home Education has taken away the stress of planning lessons. The structure keeps us on track, but there's still room for creativity. It's exactly what we needed."
